Accepted Answer

Probably not: if time is only 20 seconds.  Even longer time will probably be ineffective, because the bone and cartilage of your nose has already matured.

Weight on the nose: The weight of the glasses may still be felt after one removes them. I would get your optician to adjust the fitting.

hello sir, i usually wear gogles when go out and now i have marks on my nose due to sunglasses i wear ,,please help me how to get rid of that marks.

Nasal Bridge strap: A competent optician can install a little used device called a bridge strap on the glasses to distribute the weight of the spectacles over a broader area. Alternatively, light weight plastic or titanium frames can be used. Wraparound glare filters are effective but add extra weight. so consider prescription sunglasses or photo-adaptive lens material. Moisturize the red skin at night.

pressure on bridge of nose and no reason...cannot wear sunglasses due to the pressure becoming worse...any suggestions?

Any skin rash/bumps?: Any skin changes over your nose that you can see/feel? Do you wear glasses a lot that could be causing some irritation/discomfort? Can try OTC pain reliever (ibuprofen, naproxen, acetaminophen) to see if it helps.  If it persists more than a few days, see doctor for evaluation.  Sorry not more helpful.  Best of luck with this. Injury to Tympanic: membrane is very likely. It is important to have it looked at by your doctor so she can let you know what to expect and what to look out for as the wound starts to heal. Take care.

No: Hiv is only transmitted by intimate contact.  Sexually, exchanging blood or tissue products, being born to a mother with HIV disease or being breastfed by same.  Not transmitted by inanimate objects.  Appreciate the opportunity to provide this information.

left side of head has been visibly pulsating on an off for a few weeks now. i can see my pulse above my ear and between my ear an eye (in my hair line / where sunglasses would rest between ear an eye there is frequent seen movement. what is this?

: That is the area of temporal artery and I doubt of any significance. Just observe for now and let us know when you have new symptoms. By the way, check you blood pressure if you have not had it done for quite some time.

Not usually: The septoplasty can straighten a nose if it is corrected. Also if the septum is removed and the support lost the nose my sink in. This is seen in old boxers and called a saddle nose.

Fillers: Rhinoplasty is powerful because it can reshape nearly any portion of the nose.  Dermal fillers can be used to reshape certain parts of the nose, particularly the bridge of the nose.
