i have been on yasmin for 4 years. and recently added spironolactone.  i've been on the spiro a little over 6 months. recently i noticed veins becoming very apparent in my chest, breasts, arms, abdomen, legs, etc. could the spiro be causing this?

Skin and vein eval: If you are experiencing skin and vein changes then this will need to be evaluated by a doctor. It is not likely to be caused by these medications. Of note generally Yasmin and Spironolactone are not usually prescribed together. Yasmin and other birth control pills containing Drospirinone already have a anti androgen effect like Spironolactone. Using together could cause an elevated Potassium level

please i would like to know why do have diarrhoea almost every month, it comes once i feel a kind of heaviness around my lower abdomen. i am hypertensive and on bp medications; lisinopril, furosemide and aldactone and clopidogrel. i eat healthy. ?

Food diary: It is probably triggered by some thing that you eat. Keep a detailed diary of your food intake and you may find some item that correlates with your symptoms and then you could avoid that item.

We loose weight: over our entire body.  Spot reducing is not effective.  The amount of running or other exercise that helps depends on your present weight and metabolism.  If your doc clears you for exercise go for it, same w/lower carb food plan.  Overall health is the best goal.  Peace and good health.  Ask a personal trainer about "stomach crunches" to tone up your belly muscles a bit.

Cut back on carbs: You are only 22 so you should have plenty of normal hormones. Which means that you should have no trouble at all losing middle fat.
The only thing that would make it hard for you is if  you eat too many carbs, ie french fries, chips, sodas, muffins etc.
Also, you are on an antibiotic which may give you chronic yeast infection, making you more susceptible to carbs bad effects.

TIMELINE?: I am wondering about the timing of the prescription of the medications. If they were recently prescribed the nausea and be from the medications. More than likely you may have missed doses when intoxicated or all coincidental and it is a gastrointestinal  virus. Should be recovering and if not contact pcp.

Doxycycline: Doxycycline can upset the stomach.  Iron would be my second consideration.  Check with a doctor who can change your antibiotic to another type after knowing why you are taking it.
