Sometimes there is enough inflammation to make a pap smear harder to read. In those cases, after treating the yeast infection, a doctor may choose to repeat a pap smear at some time, depending on the cervical cancer risk factors.

: You need to see your Gyn for proper assessment . yeast infection is not the usual cause of PID. Pap smear is for abnormal cells in the cervix.

May need repeat pap: Sometimes during an infection, a pap smear may show abnormal  atypical cell, you may  need to repeat the pap smear after infection is over.

No, not likely: Everybody has yeast in tiny amounts. A problem occurs if one's yeast grows too much and starts causing symptoms (then we call it a yeast infection). Yeast overgrowth or infection probably takes a few days to develop.

i am experiencing some unusual discharge. it causes itchiness around me vaginal area. i had a pap smear last year and the nurse said it could be an yeast infection.took some cream but the itchiness is back though the discharge is different. tx?

: A "yeast infection" (fungal) is a common repeat irritant, and represents a variety of different kinds of fungal diseases.  See your gyn physician for an exam and treatment, as there are other kinds of infections which cause your described symptoms.

i had a pap smear done like a month ago it was normal no yeast infection no hpv but i have this small bump on my vagina and no hiv?

Need more info: How big the lump? What is the location of the lump? Is is painful? Is it growing? If you have no other symptoms you may watch and wait. If the lump doubles in size, ulcerates, becomes painful, bleeds or other lumps appear, see your doctor. Otherwise you may wait till you see your doctor for your regular appointment.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Not likely: inflammation is not usually cancer or precancer.
although a very inflammed can mask underlying disease by making the pap smear hard to read, simple treatment and repeat smear and hpv testing should resolve the issue.
