Numbing the nerves: This is a series of shots around the cervix to numb the entire area up.  By numbing very specific nerves, the whole area goes numb, allowing for procedures to be performed such as biopsies.

do i really need a paracervical block with a uterine ablation? i can't really afford it at this time.

In office? : If you're doing an endometrial ablation in the office setting then it is highly advised to have a paracervical block. This anesthesia should not cost much more. The high cost of the procedure is the ablation itself. If this is going through your insurance the anesthesia cost would be bundled into the overall payment anyway.

Coil/pregnancy test: Would follow up with your ob and consider blood pregnancy test as well as sonogram  to assess coil position and insure there are no retained fetal elements.Though rare you can get pregnant wtih a coil

No.: Left bundle branch block is not a contraindication to the use of Viagra. If you are being treated with nitrates you should not use Viagra.

LBBB is not a: contraindication to using Viagra. If your CHF requires treatment with nitrates then Viagra is contraindicated. If you are not being treated with nitrates for your CHF then it is OK to use it. LBBB is not an issue regardless.

i have been taking norethisterone to stop bleeding after my coil fell out. its been over a week now and i am still bleeding very heavy is this normal?

Yes it may be: normal as your body is trying to get back into the normal cycle that your ovaries/ hormonal system dictates.  And you should have heavy bleeding after months of being on the impregnated hormone coil.  Keep trying with the estrogen and keep the faith.

i've had my marina coil for a year now and i've just started having blobby, dark brown, odourless discharge. what does this mean? how long until it stops?

Fie This Mortal Coil: First make sure you're not pregnant.No birth control is 100%(Except an aspirin tablet...held firmly between the knees).Next, bear in mind that you have a foreign body in your uterus;sometimes it can irritate the tissue and cause bleeding, even after a year.But if the bleeding/spotting continue for more than a week or gets worse &amp; worse,with cramps,you'll need to see your GYN. Maybe have it removed

gettin emergency coil fitted 5days after unprotected sex,what can happen if im already pregnant? does this coil stop the pregnancy?

It may stop: implantation, but if it were already implanted, will not likely  stop the pregnancy. The timing you mention, should be ahead of implantation, as that usually occurs around day 7 or 8 after conception starts.

: I am not sure if nerve block is used as a preventive treatment measure for migraine. Dr. Machanic, a great neurologist in this forum, may help to answer your question.

i had the copper coil taken out on the 11th of june started to bleed on the 13th still bleeding very heavy is this normal and when will it stop?

Not unusual: It's not unusual to bleed after removing it, but it can't say how long it might last. It should gradually taper off over the next couple of days and then your normal cycles should resume.
