i have headaches basically every day. however, i drink enough water, take breaks from screentime often, sleep well, and eat healthily. is there a reason why my headaches won't go away?

: In my experience the commonest type of daily headaches turn out to be muscle contraction tension type. These are usually continual, dull rather than throbbing headaches. However it's best to consult a neurologist for an accurate diagnosis and any appropriate testing. Stress management therapy is often helpful.

Accepted Answer

Many reasons: You could have chronic daily headaches, you could possess tension or migraine, you might have intracranial issues, but most likely you have benign problems which need control.  Lots of approaches are available including meds, botox, even the recent "migraine surgery".

Medical attention: Is recommended. Your GP or an Urgent Care facility would be recommended as an exam and possible tests will be needed in order to formulate a diagnosis and start proper treatment.

Depends: If this is an issue that happens quite regularly, i would advise seeing a dr.  There is also "headache induced exercise, " which could actually make things worse.  See a dr. Before experimenting too much.  Not all otc meds contribute to headaches, but the best treatment would normally be no meds.

i had a root canal done on my bottom moler on wednesday it is sat. and i 'm still have bad pain and a headache that won' t go away, is this dangerous  ?

Call your dentist: It's possible that the severe pain after a root canal lasts for a few days. You should call the dentist or endodontist so they can evaluate it and give you appropriate medication.

Sinus rinses: Some of my patients have found neil med sinus rinses to be quite helpful in treating their sinus or nasal allergy symptoms.  Give that a try.

i have a terrible headache that wont go away. its around the temples on the right side and t-area. its almost like sinusitis. should i be worried about covid?

INFECTION: Not sure if these headaches are new or if you have had sinusitis. Try a a hot shower and see if you can clear your sinuses. Also when you blow your nose is a mucus coming out and what color. If you have an infection it requires antibiotics.

Really bad = see Dr.: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc. Over-the-counter options include Tylenol (acetaminophen) Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Excedrin Migraine and their generic brands. A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache or one that won't go away should be examined by a doctor.

i have been in organ failure before (2 years ago). the headache wont go away. i have been spotting for 12 days after my normal period. stools went from normal to yellow to white in the last 7 days. i am not sleeping. ?

Severe = see Dr.: Most people get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc.  A severe or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache or one that won't go away should be examined by a doctor. A person in organ failure, such as liver failure, should already have several doctors, and her pain should be treated.
