S/p ear infxn: May be residual muscle spasm from ear infxn. Try moist heat to neck & side of head; use NSAID for pain & inflammation; do neck muscle exercises to stretch & relax. If no improvement or getting worse, see pcp for evaluation & treatment.

You : You need an exam to determine what kind of infection you have.  You could either have an outer ear infection (also known as swimmer's ear) or you could have a middle ear infection with a burst ear drum causing the sudden drainage.  Since both of those need antibiotic treatment, you should go see a doctor.  Good luck!

Lymphatic fullness: When a person has an ear infection or sinusitis, the surrounding lymph nodes and lymphatic tracts fill with fluid/cells in order to mount an immune response. This can cause warmth, discomfort and slight swelling. It would be wise to have a Dr check your ears/nose for infection which can be treated with antibiotics. Saline nasal washes can also help clear the sinuses, and eustacian tubes.

Don't worry: probably an inflammatory lymph node due to the ear infection.  this will go away when the infection goes away.  The lymph node usually takes longer to resolve.

Eardrum less mobile: When there is an infection in the middle ear, fluid builds up and the eardrum cannot move as well.  It is the vibration of the eardrum that enables us to hear.  The fluid in the middle ear decreases the ability of the eardrum to vibrate causing hearing to be sensitive and muffled.

Insect bite: If the outer part of your ear is swollen, and there is pain around the ear and spreading to the cheek, a common cause could be an insect bite.  This is very common during the summer and early fall.  The problem should resolve spontaneously but ice packs to the area and pain meds will help.  If the problem does not resolve with this minimal treatment, see an ENT doctor for further advice.

This could be an ear: infection... and also could be a sinus infection, especially with the sensitivity of your teeth. Either way, you may need an antibiotic, so please see your doctor to be properly diagnosed and treated.
