Abdominal pain: How old is your son, how long he had this problem, any other symptoms such as nausia,  vomiting, bloating, bloody stools or weight loss. Abdominal pain in pediatric age is very common &amp; most likely functional. He needs to see his1ry care physician for examination, workup &amp; treatment. At the mean time keep him on bland diet, low fat, no spices cut down dairy products.  I hope he gets better soon

More investigation: If it is only red meat that causes the symptoms then focus on other sources of protein like chicken, pork , turkey and fish.  That much weight loss without change in diet suggests some type of problem. Some medications like stimulants can suppress appetite and conditions like anxiety can also  decrease appetite. Keep track of daily calories to see if consuming what is needed for height and weight.

See your doctor: If you haven't taken your son to a gastroenterologist, it is probably time. However, i cannot tell you what is next without knowing what has been done already. Have tests been done to evaluate for medical causes of constipation? Also, the pain with eating, while it could be due to the constipation, could also be due to something else, like a stomach infection. You really need to see your doctor.

Three : Three days is a long time for these symptoms and i advise that he has an examination by your doctor.  Having vomiting every night for three days is concerning.  The stomach flu is very contagious, so if no one else has it that is also concerning.  Please take him for an avaluation.  If he has increased pain, fever, or vomiting, or any rash, then he would have to be seen as an emergency.

my son gets diarrhea every time he eats any amount of apples, i'm inclined to think he has an intolerance, but have not heard of a reaction to just a few slices of an apple. he has seasonal allergies & chronic bumps on arms/legs look like pimples.

Intolerance: Rather than having an allergic reaction to Apple's, I believe that his intestinal tract doesn't tolerate the skin of the Apple which is insoluble. Try peeling the Apple before feeding it to him. Chronic bumps in his skin may need a dermatologist's evaluation to determine whether they're an allergic reaction to something internal or external. An allergist may also be helpful in this regard.

The disorder could be due to a tumor in his esophagus or some other sort of esophageal or throat problem that is not tumor related; there are several possibilities.  He should see a doctor to figure it out.  He will need to have tests done - a barium swallow (a kind of xray) and looking down his throat with a scope.

Hello, : Hello, the concern is that he may have more swelling from his tonsil, throat, adenoids. This may be partially occluding his airway. I do recommend going to the hospital as he may need steroids to reduce the swelling.
