My son gets diarrhea every time he eats any amount of apples, i'm inclined to think he has an intolerance, but have not heard of a reaction to just a few slices of an apple. he has seasonal allergies & chronic bumps on arms/legs look like pimples.

Intolerance: Rather than having an allergic reaction to Apple's, I believe that his intestinal tract doesn't tolerate the skin of the Apple which is insoluble. Try peeling the Apple before feeding it to him. Chronic bumps in his skin may need a dermatologist's evaluation to determine whether they're an allergic reaction to something internal or external. An allergist may also be helpful in this regard.
