Frustrating isn't it: Many viruses will drive such a pattern with temp peaking as it enters the bloodstream and dropping as the body clears the germ.As long as the kid takes fluids well enough to pee every 6 hrs things should be okay. If the fever doesn't respond to ibuprofen or acetaminophen,don't bother. Fever does not damage baby. It settles in a day or 2. If it gets stuck over 102 for 12 hrs the kid need to be seen

See below: Every brand of pregnancy test is different but usually there are two possible lines. One is the control line and should always come up. The other is the test line. Usually any line in the test area is considered a positive. If you aren't sure there are tests that give an answer in the form of "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so you might want to try one of those.

Different reasons: White lines can be caused by malnutrition or liver disease.  Dark lines in black people over age 20 is usually normal.  Black stripes down one nail could be a subungual hematoma.  Red or brown streaks could be splinter hemorrhages.
