See below: Every brand of pregnancy test is different but usually there are two possible lines. One is the control line and should always come up. The other is the test line. Usually any line in the test area is considered a positive. If you aren't sure there are tests that give an answer in the form of "pregnant" or "not pregnant" so you might want to try one of those.

EPT: I believe that EPT has one verical line for control, Testing would show a horizontal line for negative or a "+" sign for positive. A digital EPT may be easier for you than an analog.
