i'm obsessed with weight loss. what's wrong with me?

Feeling bad: First, do you need to lose,weight based on your BMI?  Is your weight is within range for your age and you want to lose, this has to do with your,perception of,yourself and your body image.  Women often focus their self esteem issues on weight.  It is often said,that " fat equals feelings."  If your weight is  in range and you are obsessed, work on feelings.  Therapy can help with this.

i have no family history of cardio disease and i keep thinking i'm the first i'm obsessed with my heartbeat and it prevents me from working out, im always anxious and i can't stop checking my bmp any advice how to stop?

hello. i am obsessed with health. i had a flat rash last week the size of a coin on my forearm that doesnt itch, blanch nor hurt. i dont remember hitting it either. can it be leukemia? something related to the liver? i have no other symptoms?

: Not enough even to comment on it, however based on description a skin condition will be most likely, liver or leukemia always possible, not likely in the absence of other symptoms. In case rash becomes persistent or experiencing other generalized symptoms let your doc know. Health related anxiety is exacerbated by indiscriminate Internet use that lists the most serious conditions first.

ive had a radionuclide stress test, echocardiogram, several ekgs, chest x-ray, and blood work done. everything very normal. problem is when they take bp, i get very anxious. it is high, and i am more anxious thinking it is heart. obsessed with bp?

: I would obtain a simple home BP monitor and learn to use it. If you take it at home under relaxed circumstances, you can discover whether you have true hypertension or just "white coat" hypertension triggered by anxiety. It's a real diagnosis. If it remains up at all times, it is worth medicating. The cited tests do not say why the BP is up, just any effect to date on your system.

is it safe to take wellbitrin xl,  buspar, (buspirone) and 5htp together? trying to help depression/obsessive thinking and anxiety. thanks!

Possibly: But why aren't you taking a prescription medication instead of 5 htp? When involved in polypharmacology it is much safer to ensure that your prescriber is aware of, and helping to supervise use of all of your medications. Did your medical provider recommend the 5htp?

OC trait?: Lists can really help keep a busy life more managable. As one crosses a done item off a list they can feel a sense of accomplishment. However if your life revolves around details, schedules and lists then it might be an obsessive compulsive behavior.
