im 4wk post op septoplasty / turbinate reduction and recently  got a cold. i have thick bloody mucus running down back of throat. is this normal?

Sorry you're sick!: One month after septoplasty and turbinate reductions will have allowed enough time for the tissues to heal, but not completely. Bloody mucous can certainly accompany a viral cold in this setting. You may wish to check with your surgeon regarding antibiotics so that secondary bacterial infection does not cause more severe problems or develop into sinus infection. Call your surgeon.

i have the flu and cough up green phlem in the morning.feels like its running down back of throat.  is this something to worry about. ?

Possibilities...: The flu is due to a viral infection and it will run it's course without treatment. But, signs of a possible bacterial infection that may need antibiotics include fever, sputum that was clear or white and is now green, breathing difficulties, worsening cough, etc. If you are having these symptoms, see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.

Treat symptoms: Use tylenol for fever, headache or body aches.
Use a netti pot or nasal rinses with water or saline for congestion.
Use non-prescription antihistamines and/or steroid nasal spray for congestion.
Honey, lime and whisky in hot water for sore throat.
It should pass in 5-10 days if it's a virus.

White stripe  throat: May be post nasal drip, from sinusitis  or strep. Try zyrtec as may decrease nasal discharge and post nasal drip . Would follow up with  doc and check fro strep if sinusitis may need treatment  nasal irrigation with only sterile water  or antibiotics.
