i have a white spot inside my lower eye lid. it feels like something is in it!

Accepted Answer

Try rinsing: Try using an eye wash to rinse it out. If it there is something there, it may wash out. If it is stuck there, it may be a deposit of calcium or a small stye. An eye doctor can take a look and remove it if needed.

i have 2 black spots/lines in the outer corner of my eyes, and they are only visible when i pull the lower lid down. they are in both eyes in the same spot(outer corner). they aren't inflamed, don't hurt, and not raised. no other symptoms, just black?

: They are almost like the benign moles on your skin, not uncommon at all. They had probably been there before but you did not see it.
You can observe them for now, only see an eye doctor if they change in shape or size.

i have a white spot on my sclera.  i can feel it.  then there is a small pinpoint white mass underneath the same eye right below my lower lid.  ?

Lesion on eyelid: Questions to answer are: how long has it been present, is it growing in size, is there any loss of eyelashes, are any abnormal appearing blood vessels present, does it bleed spontaneously and finally, is it behaving like the previous spot?  Because your history of skin cancer you should make an appointment to be seen by an Ophthalmologist/Oculoplastic surgeon for further evaluation and management.

: What you described is highly unlikely to be a melanoma. You may discuss it with your doctor next time you her/him.

Inflammation: Emotional tears contain a large amount of sodium, unlike the normal tear which is low in sodium.  The high salt content is irritating and can account for the red spots on her lid.  Use a washcloth soaked in cool water to counter the problem.

Stop usng face cream: Always important to keep all face creams away from the eye area in particular as the mucous membranes inside the lids are sensitive to chemicals. Can be toxic. Can also affect your cornea too &amp; create blurred vision. Need to have it removed safely. See ur eye doctor or PCP today to have them inspected, and to safely irrigate your eyelids. (Bring face cm in to see offending ingredients.)May need Rx

Stye: If this occurred rather suddenly, it probably is a stye, which is a blocked oil gland of the eyelid. It can become secondarily infected and can spread to adjacent tissues leading to cellulitis. Most of these styes respond to very warm compresses 3-4 times/day for 10' followed by gentle massage with a washcloth containing a small amount of baby shampoo.  After a week, the stye should nearly resolve

How Long?: Symtoms most likely a stye in that a " bump" isn't always palpated. They can become quite painful and cause a lot of local inflammation. A key is how long has it been going on?  Eye lid cancer usually is something that is apparent on the skin or lid margin but you should have it checked out by a physician.
