Recommend evaluation: Runny nose and cough are suggestive of influenza or other viral illness,  but with the red throat, it is important to evaluate for strep throat or other infection that may require intervention.  Best wishes.

Hard to say: Pustule implies pus or infection. If it is associated with swelling of neck "glands" this may be sialadentis: inflammation of one of your submandibular glands. I presume the "pustules" are under the tongue? Either way... What you are describing is not normal, i would see your local ent.

There are two types: Herpes comes in two viruses. One is type one (used to be called simplex or 'oral' herpes) and type two (used to be called 'genital' herpes). You only get herpes in one location. The same infection does not move or migrate. It sure sounds like you also have herpes type one. I would advise a blood test to prove or disprove this.

what could it be? do i need to go to the doctor?

fyi, i was taking cloremephenicol capsules as i feel off a bike and wanted to prevent infection.

Chloramphenicol ?: Rashes may occur in people who have increased sensitivity to Chloramphenicol.  It sounds like you are no longer taking the medication. If the rash is resolving and you are feeling well- might not require med eval.

for 5 years i have pustules all over my head, above and below my ear and back of my neck filled with pus. tried till doxycycline hyclate.not permanent?

Boils: These are often staphylococcal and if you have been treated unsuccessfully with antibiotics you may want to have this cultured, surgically unroofed and then treated for a prolonged time period (4-6 wks) with an antibiotic to which the organism isolated by culture is sensitive. Lots of things: Try gargling salt water. Take pain relievers. Suck on lozenges, i like cepacol maximum strength. If it's severe or prongued, see a doctor in case the infection needs treatment.

Sore throat: If you are having problems with reflux this can cause a chronic sore throat. Stay away from spicy foods, caffeine, and red sauce.  Follow up with your doctor if you are having this problem, you may need further treatment.  Good luck

Sore throats : That is hard to assess without more information. Recurrent sore throat‘s can be related to tonsil problems, acid reflux problems, immune system dysfunction, tobacco abuse, secondhand tobacco exposure, dietary intolerances, allergies, and a multitude of other things.To best help you, more information would be needed. Other than that, you should discuss with an ENT surgeon.

Dr. can check throat: New throat discomfort can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep). Throat lozenges and Tylenol or Motrin can temporarily help lessen pain.
