Yes: Lyrica (pregabalin) is one type of "nerve pain" medicine.  There are several different types of "nerve pain" medication.  You would want to increase Lyrica (pregabalin) to the highest dose before you could say it isn't working.  Naproxen is an an anti-inflammatory medication.  Narcotics are the strongest medication with evidence for improving neuropathic pain.

Golfer's elbow is: tendinitis of the muscles that attach to the medial side of the humerus at the elbow.  The ulnar nerve passes just behind, so if you are having numbness of the pinky finger, you are having symptoms of compression of that nerve. Nerve pain going down the arm can be from the tendinitis itself but also that the strap may be too tight.  Resting the activity that caused the injury is important.

Sciatica: True sciatica is leg pain that shoots from back, down the leg past the knee. This mimics the path of the sciatic nerve, thus it's name. Treatment is with nsaid's (my preference)—either Naproxen (again my preference since twice daily) or Ibuprofen (either but not both). Tylenol (acetaminophen) may be taken with nsaid's or alone—don't exceed 4g/day. Not a fan of muscle relaxers (sedatives, not really good relaxers).

Menstrual migraines: See a neurologist. triptans  or Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) may work. If frequency is more than 4 days a month then prophylactic medications will help.

Naproxen or Iburofen: Naproxen is regarded by some to be 'stronger' but it might not work as well as Ibuprofen for you... Every person is different; both are non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, (nsaids) and they need to be taken with food. Try Ibuprofen 800mg 3x/day or Naproxen 500mg 2x/day both for a week and see what works best for you. Watch out for stomach upset to prevent bleeding ulders! possibly try neurontin (gabapentin)...

i have swollen cheeks due to piercings. (3rd day) now i dont know which is best to take ibuprofen or naproxen 550mg. which is best to reduce swelling?

Ibuprofen: They are essentially cousins.  Ibuprofen starts working more quickly, but doesn't last as long so you have to repeat the dose more often.  Naproxen takes longer to reach it effectiveness, but lasts longer so you don't have to take it as often.    Ice might help more with the swelling.  Are you sure you do not have an infection? See another dentist: Move up your appointment or see another more available dentist to avoid more severe sequeli over a holiday weekend. Most dentists accomodate emergencies on a routine basis.
