i have skin growing between my urethra and vaginal opening. it's not a cyst or wart, it kind of resembles vestibular papillomatosis. it has become extremely bothersome and painful. i have seen 3 doctors who didn't take the time to properly diagnose?

: Sorry for your frustration but without seeing the lesion up close, it is extremely difficult to help you, especially three doctors have failed to make the diagnosis. Because the lesion is painful so it is for sure not consistent with vestibular papillomatosis which is a common, benign, asymptomatic lesion of the vagina. Please seek a fourth opinion from an experienced GYN doc or a dermatologist.

Of course they are: Ovaries make. Cysts every month. The cysts release eggs so you can get pregnant.  Occasionally they cause pain but not often.

Every person should: have a primary doctor who takes care of him/her with the whole picture in mind.  However, your PMD would need a Radiologist as a specialist. Your hepatic cysts should probably be followed with ultrasound instead of CT.

Gynecologist: Gynecologists are trained in the management of Bartholin's cysts and abcesses.  These can be treated with minor surgical procedures that can be performed in the office.

In my opinion, it is better to marsupialize these in the office rather than to just drain them.  The procedure is a little more involved than drainage, but recurrence is far less.

i have a cyst on my face when will it go away i have been to the doctor twice for this....the second time i went she took out the sack...but its back again...she was a family pratice doctor....what kind of doctor do i need to follow up with?

Usually: Most of the time there are characteristics which strongly favor a benign cyst on us - close followup and time will verify this.

Physiologic?: Assuming that your doctors have performed a pelvic exam, a sonogram of the pelvis.  If there advice was simply to watch and wait, then odds are your cyst is "physiologic" meaning that there is a cyst present but it is simply part of ovulation and cycling and should go away without producing any significant problems over any significant length of time.  If no sonogram or pelvic exam=get this done.
