Eat whole foods: Simple sugars and processed carbs should be avoided or limited. This includes any flour product. The fine grind makes absorption quick, and spikes your blood sugar which increases Insulin and promotes weight gain. Good fats such as olive oil and coconut oil are fine in sensible amounts. Eat a rainbow of organic vegetables and just enough protein.

Nothing exists: To my knowledge there is no such thing as a fat burning pill.  Otc diet pills are advertised this way to make you buy them.  Some are mostly laxatives and sure, if you poop enough you may get a smaller belly at least for a while, or they have stimulants that may curb your appetite, but also keep you up all night.  The person who invents a true fat burning pill will be rich.

The linus pauling institute reported a study indicating that green tea can assist w glycemic control. Additionally, green tea has a diuretic effect.

Diet pill: My philosophy is that the best way to lose weight is not by dieting or a pill, but by changing your lifestyle to a healthier one. You don't need a drastic diet. Make small changes. Eat the right portions, eat 3-5 small meals a day, cut back on carbs and sugars, increase lean protein/veggie/fruit/water intake, ; start doing some cardiovascular exercise. Most physicians wouldn't suggest a diet pill.
