Doesn't burn fat but: It's not yet known how effective garcinia cambogia is; some studies show it helps, others suggest it doesn't- see http://www.med.nyu.edu/content?ChunkIID=21727/ It doesn't "burn fat." No pill helps as much as a long-term healthy diet & exercise. See http://bit.Ly/1dhw9ht re: a good diet. See http://bit.Ly/178bmuf for a supplement I'm more impressed with, but no pill is magic for weight loss.

Don't use it: Garcinia cambogia is in most weight loss supplements, and can cause liver failure. It was also used in Hydroxycut which was taken off the market as people died from using it. I see a handful of patients per month with abnormal liver tests after using this medicine. I would NOT recommend it. There is no "magic pill" for weight loss. Diet and exercise remain the #1 way to lose weight and keep it off
