pregnant tsh  6.26 doc just gave me levothyroxine 50 mcg. i know it takes a 4 weeks to get into ur system and my doc is very conservative. opinions?

It's all good: Your doc is right to be conservative, especially with your being pregnant! a TSH of 6.26 is just barely hypothyroid, and so you only need a smidge of replacement hormone. This is completely appropriate - just a dab will do you. Your blood test in 4-6 weeks will direct any further dosage adjustment of levo that you may need. Ultimately, we want to normalize your system to get the perfect baby.

can you get pregnant with a marina iud? my systems have been tenderness, pain and cramping with frequent urination, also being just drained and tired told my doc of pain with intercourse they said to try new ways of doing it. my boyfriend says he can feel

To : To answer the first part pf your question, yes you can get pregnant with an iud, however the chances of becoming pregnant with a correctly plasced iud are less than 5%.Your doctor should do an iud check to make sure it is in the correct location.Also, it sounds like you may be dealing with an infection, possibly a vaginal bacterial or yeast infection, or even std. On the other hand it may be a urinary tract infection. You should be tested for all of the above. 
Your boyfriend is likely feeling the string from the iud or the iud if it is misplaced. If it is the string then maybe it is too long and your doctor should cut it.

Safe - could help.: Dha/epa fish oil supplements could increase your offspring's iq, eye-hand coordination and decrease preterm birth - although studies have yet to prove any of these benefits conclusively. They should not harm - other than their cost.

2 months ago i had blood test and found that i got very high prolactin level, doctors gave me drugs to lower the level , sex could make me pregnant now?

Yes: Even with moderately high prolactins you may still ovulate, but normalizing the level means the rate of ovulation will likely go to near normal.  Birth control options should be discussed.

Mybulin contains: 200 mg Ibuprofen, 350 mg paracetamol (acetaminophen), and 10 mg codeine for pain. It is best to avoid ibuprofen, especially in the last trimester. Prolonged use of opioids (codeine) during pregnancy can result in physical dependence in the newborn. It is best to review risks with your Obstetrician. Acetaminophen alone may be best choice. Talk to your doctor: Your doctor is your ally and knows that sometimes your child is better cared for by a biological parent than any government system. You obviously love your child so get the help you need to better care for him/her. Doctors are only mandated to report any physical abuse or neglect, which DOES NOT always include taking non-prescribed medications. Proof that you're trying to get help is a good thing.

hi  how long will  it take to get depakote off my wife system  before pregnant as she has stopped  it this month though with the help of her doctor.?

Less than a week.: Half-life elimination for Depakote (increased with liver disease): adults: 9-16 hours. That means that within a week after stopping depakote, it is completely out of your system. Your wife should be taking Folic Acid at 4-5 mg daily to prevent fetal anomalies for 6-52 weeks prior to conception!

Inform doctor: This is something that already occurred so there is not something you can do to change it. Simply inform the doctor taking care of your pregnancy. Since it was a single dose they will not likely want to do anything special or different.
