Possibly: If that "bursting" cyst is ovulation, then yes but it is just the opposite.  The lh surge causes the egg follicle to burst or release the egg.  Hope this helps.

Here are some...: Almost always, a large simple cyst of kidney alone will not burst or cause pain. To deduce if the pain is related with this cyst, a detailed Hx &amp; proper physical exam before timely imaging study are needed. The only way to prove if the cyst is cyst-related is see how your pain may evolve and resolve after cyst-related surgery. So, ask doc timely as needed.

Ruptured cysts ?'s: Ovarian cysts which rupture cause pain, and a lack of menstruation is consistent with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).  Ask your gyn physician about a pelvic ultrasound, and testing to determine if  PCOS is present.  Oral contraception bcp's will reduce cyst formation, and preserve fertility, as well as avoiding long standing changes in uterine lining cells.

Ovarian cysts: In normally cycling women (age 12->50 ish), cysts come and go each cycle and are ususally not symptomatic. This is all part of making a monthly egg. The fluid in the ovary is a functional cyst.

No: Morcellator is a process where large specimen turn to a mushy smaller pieces in order to safely be removed from the abdominal cavity during laproscopic surgery.it does not interfere in any of the organ . Ovarian cyst is a physiological process nobody can control.

ASK YOUR DOCTOR !!!: Your doc should have already explained all of that to you and since he or she did not , you should call your doc know cause your dco knows what is going on with your specific situation and should answer all of your questions !  and they should tell you waht to do now and when to followup with them!

PMS: It sounds as if you have symptoms from pre-menstrual syndrome.  The fact that this pain comes monthly right before your period says that it's likely hormonally caused.  It's difficult to say why you would have that pain as high as right under your breast bone, possibly referred pain from the pelvis.  Try Ibuprofen for the pain. Hopefully your doctor has scheduled follow up us for your cyst as well.
