Ruptured cysts ?'s: Ovarian cysts which rupture cause pain, and a lack of menstruation is consistent with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Ask your gyn physician about a pelvic ultrasound, and testing to determine if PCOS is present. Oral contraception bcp's will reduce cyst formation, and preserve fertility, as well as avoiding long standing changes in uterine lining cells.
