Different coditions: require different therapies. a cold usually resolves by itself. Always good to drink plenty of fluids. A sinus infection may not go away  unless you treat with antibiotics

Sinus Infection: Depending on which sinus(es) is/are affected, you will first experience symptoms of a cold- stuffy, runny nose, then headache or facial pain and pressure. Post nasal drip, feeling tired and fever is not uncommon. Your teeth may also hurt.  If in doubt, check with with your doctor or ENT specialist.

Steam can help: In general when it comes to the nose and sinuses steam has been shown to be helpful. I'm not sure if a "steam room" is the same as "steam" used in studies of nasal function. The heat inside the room might have adverse effects on you especially if you have a fever or other systemic problems.

Sinus infection: Yes, sinus infections can sap strength and make you tired for many reasons. Often, sleep is markedly disturbed due to secretions, postnasal drip, coughing, and other upper respiratory disturbances. Headache, stuffiness, and general malaise accompany these symptoms, particularly at bedtime.

Sinusitis and covid: Covid 19 can be dangerous in anybody but more so in people with chronic illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, compromised immune system etc. Sinusitis is not considered one of these. About 80 % of patients have only mild illness.

Yes: If you are just talking about a possibility of a viral/fungal/bacterial infection in the sinuses that doesn't manifest with stuffy or runny nose, then yes, that is conceivably possible, especially if there is limited/focal involvement.

Not usually: It, can happen but is unusual.  Sometimes sinus headaches are actually migraines which commonly are associated with light and sound sensitivity, nausea, vomiting, and are severe.  Some migraines have nasal congestion and drainage.

Yes: Anything that irritates your nasal membranes or causes excess dryness can cause nosebleeds. Colds, sinus infections, allergies, cold dry air, nasal polyps, and sniffing or inhaling irritating substances into the nose can all cause nose bleeds. Very high blood pressure can also cause nosebleeds. So can a low platelet count or other blood clotting problem.

Not easy: Since both may be associated with nasal congestion.  Sinus infection however usually involves one side and may be associated with headaches, lightheadedness, and dark green nasal discharge from the involved side. Allergy usually involves both sides of the nose and may be associated with yellow but not dark green discharge.

Yes!: While sinus infections can be associated with green/yellow nasal drainage, you can have a sinus infection with no apparent drainage. It may be too "locked in" - or it may be draining down the back of the throat as "post nasal drip." getting the sinuses to drain with saline sprays or a nettie pot can  help, as can medications to loosen the drainage. Pressure in the face or upper teeth are common.
