See a doc: You are describing an infection of the nail called paronychia. It needs to be treated with an oral antibiotic before it turns into an abscess. Try soaking it in gold listerine and water for 10-12 minutes until you can get an appointment with your physician.

If minor..: You are going to hear varied opinions on wound care.  Treatment of a specific wound is very visually based ie. It needs to be looked at by the person treating it.  In general with an avulsion, most are just partial thickness and are best treated with daily cleaning with mild soap and water, antibiotic ointment and a dressing until healed.

Nil chance : Psychiatric evaluation is suggested to prevent this from happening again.

Unlikely: Getting HIV or hepatitis from this type of contact would be highly unlikely . The answer would be different if there was fresh blood from an infected person and the clothing was never subjected to  any washing cycle assuming that detergent was used.

Very doubtful: that you would contract Hepatitis C from dried blood on wall.

Yes: Clean it well with soap and water. I would also rinse it in 3% hydrogen peroxide then putnon the superglue followed by antibiotic ointment and a clean dressing.  Ideally you should see a doctor and preferably an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand surgery.

Thumb injury: Minor cuts can lead to major problems and especially in the thumb which is of course of major significance to hand function. Given the history you give one would have to be suspicious of an infection and i would get in to see a doctor soon to make sure. Good luck.

recently i cut my thumb with a razor blade and it went pretty deep. now i'm having these pains in my hand and thumb. could i have damaged the nerves?

Possibly: You should see a doctor now. If it is that deep it probably needs stitches and could get infection. If you damaged any of the tendons those would need to be repaired as well. You need to see a doctor now though as hand wound should be closed as soon as possible.
