Yes: That increase is great.  It's still of course way too early to tell if this pregnancy will be viable or not, but those are thus far excellent numbers.  If you underwent stimulation of your ovaries, or ivf, then recommendation could change depending on when conception occurred, but if this was just a serum hcg, those numbers are excellent.

i took two pregnancy test they both were faint positives i took another later that night and it was negative. hcg level was 25 at 4 weeks is that bad?

Needs tracking: A BHCG is very low. It needs to be repeated to determine if it is trending upward indicating a very early pregnancy or trending downward which would indicate a very early miscarriage sometimes referred to as a chemical pregnancy. Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

two weeks pregnant through iui had blood work done my hcg level 265. i was wondering if there's a good chance of twins since my dr said avg is 50-100?

Yes: That number is often but not always consistent with twins. But you wont know for another 2 weeks until you can see things clearly on us.

Prob not: You are most likely not pregnant 2 weeks ago with an Hcg level of 0. The blood level can be repeated to confirm if you still haven't had your period yet.

You might be having issues with your digestive tract causing your symptoms. Any nausea or diarrhea? Can have your thyroid level checked.

Missing sac: With the elevation of your HCG value, there are three possibilities, 1. ) a missed abortion 2) an incomplete abortion 3.) ectopic pregnancy. Talk to your md about ruling in or out these issues.

: Irregular menstrual periods are common. The fluctuations of estrogen and progesterone can be easily affected by stress, weight gain/loss, exercise, lack of sleep, thyroid problems, and uterine issues. If your period irregularities persist, talk to your Dr about what testing can be done to determine the cause. You are not pregnant, as tests at those dates are very sensitive.

if my hcg level is  a 12 can i be pregnant?

Accepted Answer

Yes: The hCG is less than about 4 in a non-pregnant woman - so with a level of 12 it is likely that you have conceived quite recently.  A repeat level after 48 hours will be informative as to whether the pregnancy appears normal - the level should double every 48 hours.
