Yeast Infections: It is best to take showers instead of a tub bath.
Use neutrogena liquid cleanser or cetaphil cleanser. Neither are soap.
Use hand held spray to rinse area well.
Wear cotton underwear.
Wear loose clothing so air can circulate.
Use hair dryer to dry area as often as needed.
Always request med for yeast and take/use during the time you are on antibiotics in order to prevent.

Usally only a few da: Yeast infections usually give symptoms quickly with itching, sometimes discomfort on urinating and often a discharge. While one cannot be sure when the infection actually started, symptoms are usually noteced in the firt 36-72 hours.

Yeast infection: iIt is OK to have sex when you have a yeast infection.  What's really at stake is your comfort — intercourse might be uncomfortable, if you have an active vaginal infection.  Sex will not make the infection clear more slowly.

Yeast infection: Most women only need one dose of oral Diflucan, (fluconazole) although women with more complicated infections (such as those with underlying medical problems, recurrent yeast infections, or severe signs and symptoms) may require a second and third dose 3 and 6 days after the first dose.

NEITHER!: You should be receiving SPECIFIC anti-yeast medication vaginally prescribed by your GYNECOLOGIST if OTC preparations are not working!

Neosporin is for BACTERIAL SKIN infections and COCONUT OIL is a "folk" remedy at best!

Yeast fissures: Yeast itself can result in superficial fissures ("cuts"), which can start with trauma from scratching. But the problem is the yeast itself, not an infection that would respond to neosporin or any other cream. Just continue your yeast treatment; they will heal quickly. But ask your doctor or clinic about alternate treatment if all yeast symptoms aren't clearing up after 5-6 days.

i have a vaginal yeast infection & started taking cranberry gummies everyday 500 mg. for how long is it safe to take this much? it's a pack of 72.

Won't hurt or help: Cranberry products have no effect in curing or preventing yeast infections. It was once thought cranberry could help treat or prevent bacterial urinary tract infection, but that has been disproved. The gummies won't do any harm (assuming you're not diabetic, if they have real sugar), but they also won't help your yeast infection. Use an "azole" product, or check with your doctor.

Candidal vaginitis: Go get somebody professional to examine you and make a specific diagnosis and they can treat you.  This sounds as if it may be a yeast infection, but without seeing it, impossible to be sure.

Not simple: Usually you do not "catch" yeast infection. The yeast is normally present in the intestine, in the vagina, on the skin. When something happens the existing yeast may proliferate such that their metabolism is irritating.  This may occur because an antibiotic has altered the bacteria. This may occur because there is extra sugar or fermenting urine in the area.
