Not simple: Usually you do not "catch" yeast infection. The yeast is normally present in the intestine, in the vagina, on the skin. When something happens the existing yeast may proliferate such that their metabolism is irritating. This may occur because an antibiotic has altered the bacteria. This may occur because there is extra sugar or fermenting urine in the area.
