: No known drug-drug interactions between mentioned antihypertensives and loratadine. Drug specific side effects still apply and should be discussed with prescriber or pharmacist.

Yes: At lower dose, see dr howard hendricks paper on adipex.Asbp web page has the paper. I have not found a BP problem with low dose of adipex..Short answer is yes!

ALBUTEROL/VASOTEC: Yes they can be taken together and there is no contraindication for this.

Probably not!: You may want to cut down on hctz (hydrochlorothiazide) to 12.5 mg to prevent electrolyte  imbalance. You may want to take 20 mg vasotec once a day rather than 10 mg twice a day.Please check with your md!

Known side effect: Vasotec (enalapril) can cause cough - and does in about 10 % of people who use it. There's often a "tickling" sensation in the throat. The only way to prove if it's due to vasotec (enalapril) is to stop it, wait til the cough subsides, and then restart vasotec (enalapril). If the cough comes right back, you know for sure. If the cough is due to vasotec (enalapril), it will never stop till you stop vasotec (enalapril).

dr changed bystolic (nebivolol) to vasotec, but i've had perfect renal labs.  it's not working, roaring in ears; won't change back on phone, appt not til 3 wks.

How come?: Why? There must be a reason. Maybe the doctor will share it with you.  If there's no reason or he/she won't discuss it with you, you have good reason to change to someone else.

Vasotec (enalapril) problmes: You should call your physician (p) to discuss your problem. Your p had a reason to change your medication and if you have problems with vasotec (enalapril) (v) to let the p know. You are a diabetic and v is able to reduce both blood pressure and protein in the urine, perhaps that is why you were changed to v.

what are the differences between enalapril 20 and losartan 50?

Acei vs arb: Enalapril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor and losarten is an angiotensin receptor blocker.  Both work at the kidney level to control blood pressure and reduced proteinuria.  Acei can have a side effect of cough while arbs do not.
