Yes: Caries come from bacteria and if you have an abundant amount of infection in your mouth, you can have a bad taste in your mouth.  After all your teeth are decaying.

It is normal: Tooth extraction is a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. 
 See your dentist or an oral surgeon for post-op appointment and treatment.

Teething: When a wisdom tooth begins to come in, the area surrounding it can swell, creating pain to open the mouth fully.  Taking Ibuprofen  can help reduce the swelling/discomfort and call your dentist to have the area looked at as soon as possible so it doesn't get worse.

Thats the sign: you should see an oral surgeon and evaluate the situation before they become problematic. In my experience %95 percent of the times wisdom teeth have to be removed and it is always safer, easier and less painful if you get it done early on. don't wait see a dentist or an oral surgeon asap
