If it does not clear within 10 days you need to see an ENT doctor. Stay away from neosporin or neomycin as this med can irritate.

Blackheads and acne: Acne is due to hormone induced changes in skin follicles/increased sebum production compounded by p. Acnes in the follicles & inflammation.  Increased keratin in follicles mixed w/sebum results in comedo's or blackheads wh/create environment for acne. Topical retinoids & benzoyl peroxide are most effective for comedo's. Otc in low concentrations. Use faithfully twice daily if no effect need a doc.
