Puncture Wound Rx: As with all puncture wounds, immediate treatment with aggressive cleansing and disinfecting is the key. Any external dirt, particles, or objects must be removed. If bleeding is controlled, then a clean gauze dressing, changed every 2 days is sufficient. Watch for signs of bacterial infection with redness, more swelling, and drainage usually on the 2nd or 3rd day. This requires antibiotics.

Burn: Place burned area under cool running water. If large area or hand is involved or if skin is very blistered or white & waxy, go to er for definitive treatment to prevent contractures or infection. Avoid smearing butter or such on the area; it will just have to be scrubbed off. If area involved is small, after cooling water, may use neosporin. Leave blisters intact.

can a cerivcal herniated disk cause numbness and tingling in arms and legs?  if so what is the best treatment?

CDH : A bilateral posterior and central herniated cervical spine intervertebral disc can cause numbness and tingling in both the arms and legs. Other symptoms may or may not be present and signs and symptoms are not always symmetric. This would be consistent with myelopathy in which case you would want surgery soon.
