Doctors tend to use whatever laser they have so they don't lose the chance to treat you. Some work, some don't.

i do not know what you mean port wine stains on his nerve, port wine stains are very common and it has no connection with sturge weber unless you have the other features.

Can Appear Similar: "Difference appearance wise...port wine stain (PWS) vs. strawberry kiss/angel kiss" is the question? These are malformations of the capillary blood vessels. Angel's Kiss is present at birth, typically involves face &amp; head areas, most fade by 2 yrs old. PWS occurs anywhere &amp; can occur with vascular anomalies of the brain, eyes, limbs. See your doctor to provide the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Sacral dimple: usually only a problem if the you can't see the bottom of the sacral dimple and usually if there is a problem it will also often leak cerebral fluid.  as for the vascular birthmark, unless it is symptomatic I wouldn't worry about it.  they usually regress by age 4

None.: It  is caused by a spontaneous mutation during embryonic development; discovered last year, it causes permanent  malformations of capillaries locally.  In some cases when it affects the face, cranium, or an extremely, there may be underlying vascular anomalies, (Surge-Weber syndrome and  Klippel–Trénaunay–Weber syndrome), present prior to birth. Coordinate anesthesia for high dose laser therapy.

Probably not: Different lasers target different color targets.  In case of pulse dye generally red colors are targeted which is why it is used for port wine staining.  If your facial hair is closer in color to PWS there may be a small effect but it isn't likely.

Some : Some foods and beverages that can cause heavy staining include: red wine, coffee, black teas, cherries, grape juice, blueberry juice, soy sauce, cranberry juice , balsamic vinegar, tomato sauce,  dark colas, popsicles  and curry. Foods with high acid content impact your teeth as well as tobacco (smoked or chewed).   Chicory is reported to cause a lot of darkening.
