Dr : Dr fowler gave you a list to start with. A quick google search will give you that many more. Even if you try to avoid everything, your teeth will, over time, stain again. If you did the in office whitening, talk to your dentist about making a set of touch up trays for you to use at home. This way every three months or so you can use the home gel for one night and clean up the few months worth of stains. Hope this info helps.

Touch ups: Drink your coffee & tea with a straw. A glass of wine will not affect your whitening. Normal use will cause your teeth to become dense, thus giving the illusion of darkening. This takes years. Your dentist should have made you bleaching trays. You can use take-home bleach to touch-up your teeth if you feel it necessary.
