Can Appear Similar: "Difference appearance wise...port wine stain (PWS) vs. strawberry kiss/angel kiss" is the question? These are malformations of the capillary blood vessels. Angel's Kiss is present at birth, typically involves face & head areas, most fade by 2 yrs old. PWS occurs anywhere & can occur with vascular anomalies of the brain, eyes, limbs. See your doctor to provide the correct diagnosis and treatment.

Angelkiss=stork bite: The difference between a capillary hemangioma and port wine stain: when pressed on, capillary hemangiomas blanche. They are usually on the face--eyelids or forehead--and the nape of the neck, appearing red, and will fade away. Most babies have them. A port wine stain is permanent, purple, will not blanche, with mostly regular borders, from malformed capillaries caused by a somatic mutation.
