Bleeding: Rarely the placenta does not seperate easily and can lead to bleeding.  Also, sometimes after the placenta comes out the uterus does not contract as it should, and you can have excessive bleeding.

After implantation: Actually two questions. 1.  As soon as the placenta implants, it starts to create capillary connections with the lining of the uterus.  The main function is to bring nutrients to the fetus.  2.  However, it changes size and shape throughout pregnancy.  So, its form will change.  "fully formed" is not important issue as it changes as needed for delivering nutrients.

Yes: As long as the placenta is away from the os you should be able to deliver vaginally. The placenta is likely to migrate further from the os in the next 2 months but even if it doesn't there shouldn't be a problem.Best wishes to you and the baby.

All normal: Fetus in the cephalic presentation just means the baby is head down.  The placenta is on the front wall of the uterus which is normal and it is low on that wall instead of high on the wall.  None of these things should lead to early delivery.  Good luck!

Yes: The definition of placenta pre via is that the placenta covers the cervix. often, as the pregnancy progresses, the placenta moves away from the cervix and vaginal delivery can occur.

Accepted Answer

Don't know: There are too many variables involved in your question to give you a certain answer. The elevated BP. as pregnancy induced hypertension, may rapidly escalate. Secondly, the placental calcification may be a sign of decreased perfusion to the fetus over time. Your OB MD should be actively managing these symptoms carefully to provide a C/section or natural delivery as needed.

Placenta Previa: Placenta previa occurs when the placenta is covering the opening of the cervix. Vaginal delivery is possible in mild cases of previa. Placenta accreta is a different condition where the placenta gets "stuck" to the uterus. While the risk of accreta increases when you have previa, that risk is low if you have never had a c-section before. Follow-up with your obstetrician regarding delivery dates.

i had several large blood clots in my placenta after delivering my 4th. i am pregnant again and am sore under my ribs like last time. am i at risk?

Not related: Your rib pain and blood clots in your last placenta are unrelated. Placental bleeding is always a possibility, but since you had 3 others with no problems, i would believe that you are at no more risk with this pregnancy. Check with your OB in case there is other info that that he may know about which would change your risk.

i am about 26weeks pregnant, why placenta in my womb is decreasing? i checked up with ma doctor if any fluid flow from my inside but not. what is the solution? what will be my hope to deliver my baby?

This would be an : unusually issue with a healthy pregnancy. A consult with a high-risk pregnancy doctor could be appropriate. Rechecking with ultrasound every other week, also could be a plan. Be sure to discuss your concerns with your doctor to be sure of good communication.

34 week ultrasound showed stage 3 placenta. baby was 6lbs 3oz. now 37 weeks and on bed rest for swelling. will my doctor consider delivering soon?

Yes: It great you made it to 37 weeks. You need to talk with your doctor to determine when to deliver. Certainly at 37 weeks any time is now good.
