Bleeding: Rarely the placenta does not seperate easily and can lead to bleeding. Also, sometimes after the placenta comes out the uterus does not contract as it should, and you can have excessive bleeding.

Placenta: Bleeding, not getting all of the placenta out ( retained placenta)..... But the placenta must be delivered.
