i may have to consider surgery later to have spacer between my c5-6 discs in neck . do spaces involve screws or pins?

: I believe that the spacer has 2 arms that wrap around parts of the verterbrae when it's in place. Accordingly no other hardware should be needed. Pain management specialist can inform you further.

i have a pin and screw in my foot from having a surgery and they are over lapin. would i need to contact my surgergin for another possible surgery?

It depends: It depends. You should consult with your physician.  How do you know that your pins and screws are overlapping.  On x-ray sometime it appears to be that pins are overlapping when they are not. Are you having any symptoms like pain or swelling? Check with your surgeon for advice.V.

: This is a question for your hand surgeon who has all the data. We cannot see uploaded x-rays on this site. Your hand surgeon can explain the limits of any further attempt at repair. Once bones set up and heal, re-breaking to re-align the pieces may be an option, but an experienced hand surgeon can tell you if a better result than you have is possible.

Usually no reason: After a successful surgery there is no reason to remove them unless there is an indication that one may be backing out or some other instrumentation failure that may put orher neck structures at risk.  Just to do surgery for the sake of wanting them out  carries significantly more risk than leaving them in.

Hand fracture: The bone should be healed . The recovery should be like getting stitches.

Usually Not: Following successful spine fusion, the instrumentation typically remains.  Conditions such as a deep infection, nonhealing fusion, and on rare occasion, painful/prominent instrumentation may be treated by removal of the instrumentation.
