: You have moderate anemia with severe iron deficiency. You do not need intravenous iron, oral supplement is enough but initially you should take 2 tablets of ferrous fumarate a day for a couple months then one a day until heavy bleeding is under control. Vitamin C along with iron may improve iron absorption. It's important to see a GYN doctor for taking care the cause of heavy period. Good luck.

No, and no drug can: produce ADDICTION, but MANY can produce physical dependency.  These two conditions may be related, but they are not the same.  Many people develop substance use disorders to drugs that do NOT produce physical dependency, and many patients who have physical dependency on a therapeutic agent are NOT addicted. Discontinuation of metaxolone is not associated with regular withdrawal symptoms/signs.

is it better to take 1x1.5mg of pizotifen a day or 3x 0.5mg.

Pizotifen: initially should be taken at night (0.5) mg because it causes sedation. One gradually increases this to 3 times a day. Watch for weight gain, Taper off it if you wish to discontinue.

i'm on oral naltrexdone my bottle says 50mg, is that the same as 0.5 per day 3x (1.5 mg max) per day? i'm confused?

No risk of dying: Recurrent genital herpes is unpleasant but not dangerous. Nobody dies of it. Are you on suppressive treatment with valacylovir or one of the other anti-herpes drugs? It would reduce the frequency of outbreaks and also lower the chance of transmission of your herpes to sex partners. Discuss with your doctor.

how many hours between doses for paromomycin 250mg 3x a day? i try to space it 8 hours, but there is always one dose at an inconvenient time.

Not exact: Take one when you get up, one when you go to bed, and take one in the middle of the day.  Try to get them close to every 8 hours apart, but it doesn't have to be exact.

Primary nocturnal: enuresis or persistent bed-wetting at her age is still within normal limits. If she was dry at night  for 6 months or more, then began wetting, such secondary enuresis is more likely to have a medical cause. Ask her pediatrician about obtaining a 1st-voided, clean-catch midstream urine for urinalysis &amp; maybe culture. Don't scold; do have her participate in clean-up, calmly &amp; matter-of-factly.

Initial dose: 1 mg orally 2-3 times a day.
Maintenance dose: 6-15 mg daily given in divided doses.

For Hypertension
Initial dose: 1 mg orally 2-3 times a day.
Maintenance dose: 6-15 mg daily given in divided doses.

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia
Initial dose: 1 mg orally 2-3 times a day.
Maintenance dose: 6-15 m

i am 5'3" & 145lbs. i am trying to get back down to 120-130. i drink 64fl oz. 3x a day so far this week. i at least want to lose 2-5lbs a wk. advice?

Lower expectations: It's not reasonable to expect to lose 5# a week.  1-2 # a week is as fast as you should lose.  Exercise an hour a day.  Eat small meals several times a day.  Some people do better with low carb/high protein, others do better with slightly higher fats (monounsaturated mostly).  You might have to experiment.  You may be drinking too much water.  For your size, 80-100 oz a day is enough.
