does magnesium level in the body fluctuate all throughout the day? my magnesium was one point under the low end of the range due to drinking alcohol and poor diet. can eating the right foods get it back in normal range?

: Magnesium fluxes in and out of cells and bones and may have to have better evaluation to determine if total body amount is okay, rather than depending on the value in the blood alone. Eating right and eating food with high magnesium content should help and there is also the option of taking tablets for quick corrrection when it is very low. Alcohol is empty calories that is bad for brain and liver

does dexorange capsules contains sugar? as i heard dexorange syrup contains sugar. can i take the capsules on daily basis if my diabetes is in border line and have pcod. my hemoglobin and iron level is low so can i take?

: I would like you to verify that the capsules don't contain sugar. I wouldn't think so. Of course the syrup form most likely does. For true iron deficiency dexorange capsules probably don't contain sufficient iron. Do they make your stools blackish?  Your MD, who knows your iron level can advise you best.

i sweat and lose vision occasionally for moments after heavy exercising and have to sit down, etc. what should i do? i have very low blood pressure, it has happened twice this year, and generally after stopping the exercise

Hypotensive?: Is it the type of blurry vision one gets when about to faint? Is there any way you can take your blood pressure when that happens? Please try to do that and let me know what your readings are. Also, take your BP at rest lying down, then sitting and then standing up.

i keep getting cramps & muscle spasms.  the cramps are in my ribs for the most part & my low legs.
the spasms are riley bad & are across my low to middle back!!
it is so bad i am extremely limited in my activitys.

Can't help you here: Your problem could be hormonal, nutritional, metabolic, neurological, or genetic. It could be medically benign &amp; symptomatically easily treatable or it could be really serious. Your post is only the beginning of the diagnostic process, not the end. 3 MOST COMMON!: 1. Inadequate intake: a true vegan will get no b12, except through supplements.
2. Atrophic autoimmune gastritis.  The production of intrinsic factor is halted by immune destruction of parietal cells.
3. Inflammation of the terminal part of the small intestine, ie. Iliitis or crohn's, where B12 is absorbed.
A new cause is chronic overuse of ppis, such as Nexium (esomeprazole) or prilosec.

What is low?: You never provided a specific blood pressure. If you are not having symptoms of dizziness, light headedness, etc then it may be perfectly fine for you. Also, there is error in how blood pressure is measured especially if the wrong sized cuff is used.

Low Blood Pressure: It depends on the person. If you have had high blood pressure and no all of a sudden it drops that could be a problem. I have had many patients with normal systolic blood pressure in the 90s. Generally systolic (the top number) should be above 80.

Yes: Diet and exercise if necessary can reduce blood pressure.  If not then medication if it gets higher and or persistent may be necessary.
