: Persistent loose,often urgent, bm's following a normal bm can be seen in the irritable bowel syndrome. Is this a common symptom for you? Are there triggers like stress,certain foods containing roughage? If so but you can't identify the culprit foods, try a fodmap diet.(google it) to see what foods to avoid. Antispasmodic meds like dicyclomine help. See your MD or a gastroenterologist as needed.

Probably because U R: Normal bowel frequency in america fits a bell-curve distribution--once daily stooling is the middle of the curve, but the normal range extends from 3 bowel movements daily to 1 bowel movement every 3-4 days.  Stool volume, weight, consistency, color vary (see other healthtap answers on the subject), but you very well may be passing 1-2 pounds of stool a day appropriate to diet, transit time, etc.

Impaction: Prolonged periods of time without a bowel movement (less than a week) are likely not dangerous for an otherwise healthy child, but can be quite uncomfortable and more difficult to address as more time passes.  A glycerin suppository or Fleets enema are generally required at this stage to get things moving, followed by several weeks of stool softening, dietary modification and bowel retraining.

Pretty common: Occasional incontinence of stool with fecal leakage is common, but loss of bowel control particularly without warning may signal a significant infection, inflammatory problem, maldigestive concern, or neurologic disorder.  Sometimes, particularly in youths, the condition is behavioral.  Often, anal manometry followed by biofeedback can be curative without the need of surgery or medication.

Could : Increase exercise, fluids and fiber intake. Minimize hard and dry food. See your doctor and consider addition of stool softners or increase dose of Mira lax  and your doctor may consider colonoscopy

High fiber, prunes: Take diet in high fiber such as vegetables, fruits.  And use prunes or prune juice daily for good affect.

Depends: do you want softer stools or firmer stools? constipation is more common than diarrhea. increase fluids in diet that are caffiene free, water, fruit juices, etc. also consider more fresh fruits and vegetables. fruits should have skins. finally increase fibre along with fluids. they work better that way.

Opioids/ constipatio: Please restate   2-3 BM/ wk is better .Consider Amitiza/Relistor /Movantik for constipation. Also drink plenty of fluids  2.5 to 3 liters/day.  Fruits-prunes, vegetables , psyllium, Miralax (polyethylene glycol) , lactulose and bran have been shown to work as well . Consider sitz study  checks  motility and other processes. f/u w/doc.
