I don't have more than one bowel movement a week, but otherwise it's pretty consistent. painkillers seem to be the culprit, but abstaining isn't good.

Opioids/ constipatio: Please restate 2-3 BM/ wk is better .Consider Amitiza/Relistor /Movantik for constipation. Also drink plenty of fluids 2.5 to 3 liters/day. Fruits-prunes, vegetables , psyllium, Miralax (polyethylene glycol) , lactulose and bran have been shown to work as well .
