16 is a low BMI: BMI of 16 is quite low and your friend should be seen to figure out why it is so low.

my blood iron levels show 125, and my test showed normal ranges are 37-145. my uibc showed 204 value. normal levels on test said: 40-190. shall i be concerned? will continuing to eat iron rich foods be safe? will food increase to dangerous levels?

: The higher the UIBC the higher possibility of iron deficiency so a result of UIBC higher than normal high limit means that you should continue to eat foods with high iron content. Two lab results for iron overload (toxicity) are high iron saturation and high ferritin levels. You likely have had iron deficiency so your doctor only checked iron and UIBC. Take care.

Iron deficiency: Iron deficiency is quite common in woman of reproductive age. It would be safe to take oral iron and multivitamin supplements. It may be prudent to see your doctor for an evaluation to rule out other issues.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

recently had copper serum levels checked. this labs ref range is 73-129 mcg/dl. my results came back at 134mcg. is this dangerous and could this cause things low iron level of 27 or very high heart rate? and should i avoid consuming any more copper?

: The slightly elevated copper level is an indication that you are getting  lleveormalenough copper in your diet....copper is found in many foods.  You do not need to adda copper supplement.  However, it's important to raise your iron to a normal level to make red blood cells and avoid anemia.  Discuss these issues with your doctor or with a nutritionist.

i'm 8 months postpartum with heavy periods. i suspect of dangerous low count of hemoglobin (low iron) because i'm dizzy and feel faint all the time. i can't get my labs till next week. will i be safe even if my iron levels are in dangerous range?

Thanks for asking!: Here we need to first clarify the following: serum iron level is usually presented in 2 types of units: either as mcg/dl (normal: 70-175 in men; 50-150 in women) or mcmol/l (normal: 12.5-31.3 in men; 8.9-26.8 in women). If serum iron level is abnormal, other iron panel parameters (ferritin, total iron binding capacity, transferrin saturation) and hemoglobin level should be evaluated.
