No set time: We are unable to say how long it takes for ulcer to perforate- most of the time if someone perforates- they did not know they had an ulcer.  It is depends on the cause of the ulcer and how much exposure the lining of stomach is getting from it- like alcohol, nsaids, aspirin, steroids, etc. Also if  the bacteria assoc w ulcers if present is treated and how thick the lining of your stomach is.

Acute abdomen: Death from internal bleeding, infection, peritonitis can be seen following a perforated stomach/ulver. Sometimes the diagnosis can be missed at first as the initial presentation may mimic less life threatening conditions. This is a surgical emergency.

Not risky: We know that most ulcers are not caused by door or stomach acid, but by a bacteria which leads to gastritis. Soda won't cause ulcers. I suggest you moderate your intake, of course. You can have too much of a good thing. I am assuming you're following up with your doctors. If not, do so. Good luck.

Yes: Dear Girish,

Vomiting can increase the pressure in your stomach and if there is an ulcer the blood vessels can pop and cause you to bleed or perforate.  If you have a stomach ulcer your physician should have you on a proton pump inhibitor.  Please avoid alcohol or NSAIDs as these can make ulcers worse.  Please seek care from a doctor if you have pain or any kind of bleeding.

Yes and no: This is possible but in therapy you would  be  better with Celebrex (celecoxib). You physicians can evaluate you to see if  you have  the ulcer and it is even less likely you had it for pancreatitis for it  but possible.  Your physicians can have  you see a gastroenterologist to clarify the diagnosis.

No: Aortic wall is thick enough to withstand the acid from perforated ulcer. There will be a lot of symptoms from perforated ulcer before it would affect the aorta, if ever.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Complicated: Stomach ulcers must be followed closely as they are not as common as duodenal ulcers, have a lower likelihood of being  associated with acid production, and are more likely to be cancerous. If the ulcer is in the area just as the stomach exits into the intestine, lowering acid with medication and dietary modification are the standard treatment. H pylori is a bacteria that can cause ulcers.

NO: Percocet is oxycodone (an opioid) combined in a fixed dose with Acetaminophen (tylenol (acetaminophen)). Neither irritates the gastric mucosa and therefore will not contribute to ulcers or gastritis. Too much tylenol (acetaminophen) can lead to liver damage.
