i am suffering from a problem with piles. i consulted a dr. and she gave a cream, which gives me temporary relief from the pain. what can i do more permanently?

Avoid constipation: Hemorrhoids are exacerbated by constipation and the "pushing" necessary.  Foods high in fat tend to constipate you.  Foods high in fiber favor looser stools.  Fruits vegetable, whole grains are excellent sources of fiber.  Also, fiber only works if u are well hydrated.  Drink plenty  fluids to keep stools soft.  Don't sit for long periods on the toilet. Surgery is the only definitive treatment.

2 different problems: Scabies:  it requires effort to get rid of scabies. 1st, you ; all members of your household need to be treated. Ivermectin is an effective medication for treating scabies. 2nd, clean (ie. Hot water in machine) clothes, bedding ; towels you've come in contact w). There may be things like pillows that can’t go in the wash. Place them in a big plastic bag ; tie it up. Keep it in there for 48 hours.

No cancer: depending on how the hemorrhoid was removed, pressure over the site can occasionally cause some bleeding.  Warm baths allows better healing.  Cancer of anal canal does not occur via hemmorhoids and there is no known way of preventing tumor formation in that area.  Periodic check up will guarantee no problem occurs.

Test for hypothyroid: High fiber diet- a lot of fruits &amp; vegetables.Flax seeds daily- may add to salads or bake with it.
Fresh &amp; dried prunes &amp; warm prune juice twice daily.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water.
good quality multivitamin with minerals.
Probiotics  &amp; yogurt daily.
Exercise daily- brisk walking,yoga etc

No: Most common precipitating  factor is straining at stool.  Eat high fiber fruits and vegetables and drink at least 1 Liter water daily

First: Need an exam to be sure what you have. A thrombosed external hemorrhoid is a painful lump at the anal opening from a blood clot in a small vein. They usually resolve in a few days with warm bath soaks and you can try a pain medicine over the counter (ibuprofen, etc.). External thrombosed hemorrhoids can be removed in a doctor's office. Internal hemorrhoids can be banded in a doctor's office.

Indirectly: Pregnancy itself causes pelvic pressure & can cause women to get hemorrhoids. A vaginal delivery itself could aggravate the hemorrhoid veins that are already present, but not likely to have caused them to form in the first place.

Gentle: Cleaning off after a bowel movement should be gentle.  Pre-moistened  towlettes can be used to dab the anus. Don’t wipe/rub.  Pat the anus dry after cleaning.  Avoid using harsh soaps that contain dyes or aromas. Want to keep stool soft. Stay well hydrated (at least 8 - 8 ounces glasses of water per day). Try to get in 5 servings of vegetables and 4 servings of fruit per day – get that fiber in.

how do i give myself an enema if i have internal hemorrhoids? is that safe orshould i do something else? i tried usingit,but it wouldn't fit in.thanku

See a doctor: Perhaps having your hemorrhoids removed will help you with enemas. I would see your doctor to examine your rectum and confirm there is no obstruction and determine if you need enemas.
