Accepted Answer

Probably not.: Not likely enough smoking to be seen on xray or on standar pulmonary function testing, but the damage is likely there and accumulating with time.  Stop now while you are ahead.

Smoking: This not an accurate description (smoking related shadowing)   if there is an abnormality on the cxr it has to be described in a better way. You can have your cxr looked at by someone else.

im teenager i smoked i think 7 months but not everyday i stopped for 2month and im not smoking anymore is it appear in chest xray wther i smke or not?

Smoking: Typically changes seen on chest x-ray occur after years of chronic smoking. At your age and with your history of exposure I would not expect your chest xray to show anything abnormal. Would recommend not restarting smoking, avoid developing the habit. Smoking comes with lots of health risks. Not easy: Most smokers will have normal looking lungs on a plane chest x-ray. Heavy smokers develop bronchitis and emphysema which does produce over inflated lungs, seen on a chest x-ray which can make us suspect smoking as the most common cause. Yet this is not the best test for this diagnosis.

smoking's damage to your lungs is visible on an chest x-ray.  Characteristic changes consistent with pulmonary disease is evident with chronic smoking.  Recently a new low dose ct imaging has been recommended for long term smokers that may identify lung cancer at an earlier stage than a chest x-ray.

Yes: A baseline cxr is important for comparison with future cxr's   there is no way to know if it will be normal until it is done.  It is inexpensive so do it, get a copy of images and the radiology report to keep for any problems in future.  Stop smoking!

sir  my xray reports says tht lungs fields are congested ...can u tell me why it happens wats the major cause .......is this is due to smoking habit?

LUNG CONGESTION: Smoking causes the cells that line up all throughout your bronchial tubes to stop moving, hence causing difficulty clearing secretions that also get thicker due to sitting there longer than they have to.
So clearly the most important thing is that you quit smoking and get treated in an attempt to clear those secretions as quickly as possible.

No: Routine blood tests or EKG will not show that you have been smoking.  One year not likely to give any changes on an xray. Good job on quitting!

Brown sputum: Since no cough and negative x-ray  would continue to stay away from smoking and follow up with physician within 1-2 weeks. May require more labs and exam.

right side of back slightly swollen. constant back cracking feeling like lung is "sore". smoking increases symphtoms. lung x-ray is good. 28 years old?

Chest tightness?: Honestly, chest soreness made worse by smoking sounds like asthma in a28 year old... But talk to your doc.   A normal chest x-ray doesn't mean much, your exam and pulmonary function tests would be more interesting, as well as the history of your symptom progression.
