Not Sure: Not sure why your skin is clearer or if it affects hormone levels significantly with amitriptyline.  However it is an older tricyclic anti-depressant, maybe your mood is better therefore you look better and feel better about yourself?

Ventral is underside (towards abdomen, not back/dorsal), t-sac surrounds cord--not severe w/o cord compression. The above "could" be pain link. Ask spine dr.

Sciatic pain: I assume you mean sciatic nerve pain. There are lots of potential causes for this but if it has been going on for more than a couple of days i would certainly get in to be evaluated by a good physician.
