Less thyroid tissue: Your thyroid makes thyroid hormone.  Your pituitary monitors thyroid hormone, and if there isn't enough, it makes TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone.  So a high TSH means not enough, or not as much thyroid hormone.  If the level is clinically high, the patient is placed on levothyroxine, thyroid hormone.  Thyroglobulin is made by the thyroid, and if low, it means there is less thyroid.

Not a whole lot!: An elevated TSH is the main criteria most docs use to diagnose hypothyroidism. While most docs feel it is not abnormal unless above 5.6 or so, many endocrinologists feel anything above 3 is abnormal, and some even feel a level above 2 could indicate problems- see http://abt.Cm/1562fwq

on levothyroxine 100  for total thyroidectomy  my t3 (liothyronine) is low and my ft4 and tsh are normal? i read this could mean i have an illness is this  true?

Unlikely: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if TSH is normal, you are unlikely to have a serious issue.

Not so far: Your thyroglobulin level is high, but this is to be expected within a few months after receiving radioactive iodine.  The TSH is at the lower end of normal, indicating that you are on a good dose of thyroid hormone (but you should take brand only).  Chance of recurrence is mostly related to your age and the size of the tumor.  If it was under 1.8 cm, the likelihood of recurrence is low.

my tsh is a little low. t4 is a little high. i can't take the thyroid meds. will a partial thyroidectomy help? (feeling very sick)

Other options: Even if you have hyperthyroidism, which is not certain from the information you provided, you need to consult an endocrinologist to check out other options for medication. Even if medication is not an option, surgery is generally not necessary, as thyroid gland can be ablated by radio-iodine.

Levels good: Your levels are perfect for someone who is on thyroid suppression after DX of thyroid cancer. Make sure you continue brand name replacement and frequent blood tests.

TSH levels: Total thyroidectomy means you have to be on replacementdepending on reason for resection if benign maintain TSH 1 to 3 if malignant over treated with TSH below 0.1 or so check TSH every 2 months to adjust dose generally you should not experience any symptoms.

Aging: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that,  The weight gain may be due to general slowing of metabolism with aging. Your thyroid function test results seem okay. You may need to reduce your intake of food and exercise more.
