Cervical bleeding: Usually if bleeding occurs after a vaginal ultrasound, the most common reason is the cervix was irritated during the ultrasound. This will usually resolve on its own.  If the bleeding is  heavy or persistent, you should be evaluated by your physician.

Nothing to worry.: The vaginal cuff is what remains after hysterectomy. It is normal for it to be "collapsed". As long as no other findings were described in the radiology report, and your doctor has not discussed any concerning findings, then you can rest assured that everything is normal.

Sounds normal: The variation of dates between LMP and ultrasound is very small (ultrasound considered more accurate). Without other concerns it sounds like a normal early pregnancy.

Likely so, but...: Life is not exact, no matter what the numbers show.  A woman with 28-day cycles ovulates on day 14, but that means the same thing as ovulating on day 13 or 15.  Dates and numbers are estimates, not to be thought of as "exact".  For example, the due date is usually not the day the baby gets born, because babies are also born a day or a few days sooner or later.

apprx. 4 weeks and i went for vaginal ultrasound yesterday but they didn't see anything other than thickened uterine wall what could this mean?

Probably normal: 4 weeks is usually not quite far enough along to see anything with ultrasound, even with the vaginal transducer.  If there is an intrauterine pregnancy, the first thing to show up will be a gestational sac, which usually becomes visible by 4.5 - 5 weeks.  Be patient and don't worry at this point.

Thick Cervix-not bad: It's hard to say exactly what the Radiologist was trying to say about calling the cervix "thick".  Usually we refer to the cervix in a similar fashion in labor for someone who will not likely deliver soon.

If your pelvic exam and pap are normal, I wouldn't think a "thick" cervix would be a sign of something bad.

Follicle: Each month you produce egg cysts called follicles.  Your ultrasound like showed a left sided dominant follicle of the right size or showed evidence of recent ovulation (fluid around the left ovary with collapsing cyst wall).  When i had more fertility patients, i often got reports from ultrasounds saying the same thing.

Accepted Answer

No,: But blood tests can help determine higher or lower risks. This needs to be either removed surgically or watched with ultrasounds VERY closely. As these features can be very worrisome.  Close followup with your doctor, surgery likely, second opinion with gynecology/oncology, if unsure.

ultrasound shows a 1.5 round complex cyst or mass on vulva/vagina. shows no color on doppler (non-vascular) has circumscribed borders, how likely is this cancer?

: No, it is likely a benign lesion and it can be removed with local anesthetic in the office. Good luck.
