Rash: Without seeing it, it is difficult to know for sure but things that can cause prolonged localized itching:Eczema/atopic dermatitis (usually in more than one spot and would generally have a history).Ring worm a fungal infection (would explain why the lotrimin (clotrimazole) seems to help. Contact dermatitis (could range from anything from sensitivity to soap to a poison-ivy type exposure). See your doc for exam

Rash: Skin conditions, rashes etc. are almost impossible to diagnose over the computer so it is best for you to see a Dr.  A dermatologist specializes in skin conditions, so that Dr. would be the best for you to see, to get properly diagnosed so the best and most appropriate treatment can occur, best wishes.

is lotrimin as strong as lamisil (terbinafine) in treating ringworm? and is it ok to use lotrimin 1% on my 4mo old baby. it looks like she has it on her stomach.

Yes&amp;yes but only if: Lotrimin is an over-the-counter brand of clotrimazole which is an antifungal. While Lotrimin doesn't have specific adult vs pediatric guidelines, clotrimazole is approved for use in children. However, it's best to have your infant evaluated to confirm your suspicions. Lamisil is an OTC brand of terbinafine which is also an antifungal but only approved topically for children older than 12yo.

Well: First of all you have to be sure it is ringworm and this is questionable since no resolution with the anti fungal cream. You did not say it was worse. I suspect you gave yourself the wrong diagnosis. See your doctor for correct evaluation and treatment plan. So you do not suffer anymore

my 11 yr old daughter has pealing feet, mostly her toes. it looks like athletes foot. should i treat it with an over-the-counter lotrimin, (clotrimazole) get an rx?

You can: treat with OTC lotrimin (clotrimazole). If you do I would also get a 1% hydrocortisone and apply them both together. I find that it works better with combination anti fungal and steroid cream

: The most common cause of otherwise unexplained genital sores is herpes, which is also suggested by a "blister" lesion. Clotrimazole would not help and steroids like betamethosone probably would make it worse. See a health care provider ASAP for personal exam and testing. Good luck.

While commonly seen in infants and individuals with weakened immune systems, it can still occur in healthy adults. Common symptoms of thrush is a sore throat, the presence of white spots or patches on the tongue, inner cheeks, or other areas of the mouth.

im a male, had unprotected sex with a female partner months ago (6m), got an apparent yeast infection, so i went to see the doctor, he gave me clotrimazole (1m) and fuconazole (weeks) after 5 months i feel is still sore and my skin changed..looks dry?

Dermatitis?: Genital yeast infections rarely are sexually transmitted or acquired. Whatever the cause of your rash at that time, it is unlikely you caught it from your partner. Your continuing symptoms may not be due to yeast or any other fungus, perhaps some other kind of dermatitis. If your own doctor isn't helping, see a dermatologist. In the meantime, try not to worry. Probably this is nothing serious.

: There must be 50 different causes of white coated tongue, most of them very minor. It's not the same as thrush, so no surprise there anti-yeast treatment didn't help. If you're the same person with similar questions on a different forum, you definitely do not have HIV and probably nothing to do with your recent sexual exposure(s). I don't see anything worrisome in any of this.
