CD 38 negative good : CD 38 expression as novel prognostic indicator.Cell surface expression of CD 38 in  CLL  has been  recogniszed recently as marker of progressive disease &amp; poor outcome.

In contrast to traditional staging systems CD 38 is able to identify progressive cases at an early stage.

Ask your doctor about other details &amp; treatment. CD negative has good prognosis.

See below: Gram negative bacteria do not pick up the gram stain dye. They appear pink under the microscope. They include bacilli like e. Coli and pseudomonas and cocci like neisseria and brucella.  Gram positive bacteria pick up the stain and appear dark purple.  They include staphylococcus and streptococcus. Each can cause mild and serious disease. They are treated by different types of antibiotics.

See below: Hemoglobin refers to red blood cells (rbc) in the urine. “Small” implies not enough red cells to cause visible blood in the urine to the naked eye (aka microhematuria) but may still be significant. Microscopic exam should be done with the normal value being 0-3 rbc/hpf. Persistent microhematuria &gt;3 rbc/hpf deserves further follow-up and/or evaluation with blood tests, imaging studies, cystoscopy.

hello dr, i took hiv ab/ag test on 4 6 7 9 weeks, and the negative reading is as follow 0.07/0.05/0.07/0.08, does my test is considered conclusive? why does the reading keep getting higher over time? does this indicate something?

: The numerical results vary naturally and are almost never the same each time. Any number below the pos/neg cut-off (usually around 1.0) is equally negative. The very same specimen tested 10 times would give 10 different numbers. Your results prove with 100% certainty you do not have HIV. Stop testing.

How do you FEEL?: Both the dsDNA tube test and the fluorescent ANA are fraught with pitfalls. This is information useful toward ruling lupus in or out, but the decision to treat will be made clinically, and that's what matters. I'm sorry it's confusing and I wish you the best.

Likely, not much: Anas are not infrequently identified in healthy individuals in low titres that may disappear at intervals. Detection of anas is variably sensitive in detection of autoimmune (ai) or rheumatic disease (rd), and may be falsely positive in normal women, the elderly and first degree relatives of patients with ANA + ai disease. Interpretation needs to account for ANA pattern, titre and clinical symptom.

No necessarily but: it may point to the presence of other autoimmune diseases. Do note that this is merely an indicator of potential autoimmune disease and not diagnostic of anything.

Culture/smear: There can be smear negative TB. The smear results return more quickly than the culture results which are more accurate.

its been 2 weeks since i first tested positive for covid19. symtoms have passed, but i keep getting a positive pcr test result. when can i expect to get a negative result( i need it for travel) and does this positive result indicate my health is bad?

: PCR test can remain positive for months due to dead virus in the nasal passages. The positive does not mean that you have illness nor that you are contagious. If an antigen test is acceptable for clearance for travel, you should try to get that.
