Olive oil: There is likely to be a difference of opinion, however, virgin olive oil is generally considered to be conducive to good health.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

Olive Oil: Recent randomized controlled trial concluded that mediterranean diet plus either extra virgin olive oil or mixed nuts was able to prevent heart disease. Do realize that you can't heat it up as much as other vegetable oils so might need to use some other vegetable oil for high temperature cooking. With that said, frying anything isn't considered healthy regardless of oil used. Plus diet is importan.

Limit consumption: As food, palm oil is used for frying. Along with coconut oil, palm oil is one of the few highly saturated vegetable fats; while it does not contain cholesterol,  saturated fat intake increases a person's ldl[bad cholesterol] and hdl[good] cholesterol. This may increase your risk for heart disease with prolong use.

Safe: Unless you have an allergy to them, most experts feel that fish oil preparations have no serious side effects. Some people complain of bad breath or diarrhea taking them and they are somewhat of a blood thinner. All in all, i recommend them for their helpful effects on our health. See if your md agrees.

Olive, coconut and..: Olive oil is healthy for cooking at low temperature but is not healthy when exposed to high heat. For higher heat i recommend coconut oil, which has many health benefits and does well at high temperatures. Hi-oleic safflower oil is also good for high temperatures. First: rule out: disease: thyroid, scalp infection, formal vitamin defiviency testing, stress, tension, anxiety or hormonal issues. Is therea  pattern of male baldness in your family? Get a medical evaluation.

The healthiest diet so far, proven to reduce heart disease in many patients, is the mediterranean diet. It relies on liberal use of extra virgin olive oil, vinegar ( low glycemic index, promotes full stomach sensation), fruits, grains, and moderate wine consumption. Canola oil can also be used, in small amounts.
